On the afternoon of May 15, Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology held the employment mobilization conference and launch ceremony of employment series activities for 2020 graduates in the Ra-Mo lecture hall. Xiaodan Gao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, Jing Zhang, a teacher of the employment guidance center of University of Science and Technology Beijing, and Wei Cui, the employment guidance teacher and the director of the student affairs office office, attended the event. The conference was chaired by Ying Zhang, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the institute.

                                             

At the beginning of the conference, teacher Wei Cui pointed out that most students have a blind attitude to follow the choice of graduation destinations, and their career planning consciousness is very thin. He made a detailed analysis of the employment situation of previous graduates through a number of sets of data and charts, emphasizing that one should know one's own needs when looking for a job, and it is best to observe the company's cultural atmosphere and working environment for a period of internship, so as to avoid the phenomenon of multiple cancellations.

Teacher Jing Zhang took the topic of "employment situation and career choice" and exchanged ideas with the students from three aspects: employment environment introduction, the direction of previous graduates and several steps of job application. She said that starting salary is not equal to salary and the development of personal ability is more important than starting salary. She pointed out that there is no sunset industry, only sunset companies, and every industry has huge potential, so we should pay attention to corporate culture and development when looking for a job. By introducing the deeds of senior Biao Ju, teacher Zhang hopes that we can be able to make a contribution in the place where our motherland needs. In the end, teacher Zhang explained the three main points of job application in detail. The first is to take the initiative to obtain information and seize the opportunity; the second is to make a resume and revise it many times to strive for perfection; the third is to make adequate preparations before the interview and grasp every opportunity .
