The 2018 National Science and Technology Awards were announced in Beijing this morning. 285 projects (candidates) were selected, with 38 State Natural Science Awards, 67 State Technological Invention Awards and 173 State Scientific and Technological Progress Awards. The project of “Key technology innovation and industrialization of strategy metal regeneration with complex component” from Prof. Zhang Shengen’s team won the second prize of State Technical Invention Award in 2018, becoming the second team to win the award after the Academician Jianxin Xie’s team of our institute!
