Jinwei Wang, born in 1966, PhD, associate professor, master supervisor in USTB.

He received the PhD degree in engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2001; from 2002 to present, he engaged in teaching and research works in University of Science and Technology Beijing. He works in the areas of polymer modification and composites, surface and interface including functional polymers and their applications, the interaction of the surface and interfaces between polymer and metal, surface treatment and coating technique for metal devices with irregular shapes in special environments (protecting/sealing/adhering). Most of the funds supported by Ministry of Education China, Ministry of Science and Technology China, and industry companies; have published around 60 papers (around 40 indexed SCI or/and EI) and 9 patents (authorized 7).

Course Instructor for undergraduates:Polymer Chemistry,Materials analysis and characterizations, etc.Course Instructor for graduates:Coating chemistry,Environmental material chemistry, etc.

Guide more than 40 master students.
