Personal profile:

Shubin Ren, born in 1978, doctor of materials science, researcher, doctoral supervisor. In 2002, he graduated from Beijing University of science and technology with a bachelor's degree; in 2002-2007, he graduated from Beijing University of science and technology with a doctoral degree; from July 2015 to June 2016, he was a visiting scholar of RMIT. He mainly studies metal matrix composites, metal 3D printing, powder metallurgy porous materials, superalloys and shape memory alloys. As the project leader, he has successively undertaken 9 projects such as "863" plan project, National Natural Science Foundation project, doctoral program of the Ministry of education, National Science and technology support project and many enterprise projects, applied for more than 20 invention patents, published more than 30 academic papers, and won one provincial and ministerial first prize (ranking first). In 2013, it was selected into the "Young Talents Program" of Beijing higher education institutions.
