Personal profile:

Xiao Kui, born in 1969, Professor, doctoral supervisor, deputy director of the National Material Environmental Corrosion Platform. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2006 and worked at University of Science and Technology Beijing since July 2006. He has been responsible for 3 national natural science fund projects and 1 aviation fund project, and participated in 6 national projects such as “973”, science and technology basic conditions platform, and natural fund key projects, and is responsible for undertaking more than 30 projects of industrial cooperation projects. He has published more than 100 papers in journals such as Electrochimica Acta, and obtained more than 10 invention patents. He also edited two monographs, "External Atmospheric Environment Corrosion Behavior and Mechanism of Electronic Materials," and participated in the "Initial Behavior and Mechanism of Metal Atmospheric Corrosion". He has won 6 second prizes for the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 5 first prizes and 2 second prizes for provincial and ministerial level science and technology progress awards.

1. Study on atmospheric corrosion behavior and mechanism of metallic materials

2. Mechanism of corrosion damage of materials under multiple marine environmental factors

3. Research on environmental damage behavior and protection technology of electronic materials

4. Microbial corrosion behavior and mechanism of metal materials

5. Material environmental corrosion database design and construction
