Yan Yu, born in 1980, Ph.D, professor, Ph.D students supervisor.
Graduated from USTB in 2002 with bachelor degree.
Graduated from University of Leeds, UK, in 2006 with Ph.D
Worked at the University of Leeds as research fellow from 2006 to 2010.
Joined the Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology USTB in 2010.
Research direction：
1.Tribo-corrosion
2.Hydrogen embrittlement and SCC
3.Safety evaluation for materials used in space
4.Materials Genome Engineering
Research outcomes :
Authored 5 books. Published over 100 papers (72 sci indexed).
PI for 4 NSFC project (including 1 key project).
