Zhihao Zhang, born in 1970, doctor of engineering, associate dean of Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, professor, doctor tutor. In July 1992, he graduated from casting major of Fuzhou University with bachelor degree, graduated from Kunming University of Science and Technology with a master degree in July 2001, and graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing with a doctorate in March 2005. Then, he began to conduct post-doctoral research at the Postdoctoral Station of Metallurgical Engineering of the University of Science and Technology Beijing. In 2007, he stayed on campus after his postdoc.
Research direction：
1. Theory and technology of advanced material extrusion
2. Controlled solidification and controlled forming of high-silicon electrical steel
3. Preparation and processing of metal matrix composites
Scientific research achievement :
He has published more than 50 academic papers, of which more than 40 are included in SCI and EI. He has applied for 12 national invention patents and 10 have been authorized. In 2010 and 2012, he won the first prize of China Nonferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology.
