Personal profile:

Hongchi Ma, born in 1985, Ph.D., assistant professor. In 2005-2016, Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. graduated from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the National Center for Materials Corrosion Safety Science and Institute for advanced materials and technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing. Conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Western Ontario, Canada from 2016.3-2017.8. He has won the honorary title of “National Scholarship”, “Top Ten Academic Star” of University of Science and Technology Beijing, “Outstanding Graduate Student of University of Science and Technology Beijing”, “Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of University of Science and Technology Beijing” and “Excellent Merit Students”.

Research direction:

1, Research on development and corrosion resistance mechanism of corrosion resistant steel;

2, Stress corrosion behavior and mechanism of high strength steel;

3, Corrosion behavior and mechanism of welded joints.
