Yanxia Du,Associate Professor in Corrosion & Protection Center UNDP, University of Science and Technology Beijing, NACE certified CP specialist, NACE certified CP instructor. She was graduated from China University of Petroleum with Ph.D degree in 2007 and after two years of post-doctoral research work, she worked as a research and teaching fellow in Corrosion & Protection Center UNDP, University of Science and Technology Beijing. She worked as a visiting scholar in University of Pittsburg, USA from 2016.10 to 2017.10.

She has engaged in the research work on modern cathodic protection and AC/DC interference for more than 15 years. As a leader and core member, she has involved in the research work of more than 35 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation Project, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Project, the National Key R&D Program of China and a number of industry projects. She has published more than 60 academic papers in the field of CP and interference, co-authored 3 books and received 3 software copyright licenses and 8 patents. She won the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress from provincial government .Besides, she gained the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress from CSCP of China two times and the Second Prize one time and gained the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress from Xinjiang uygur autonomous region and

Her major research interests include: AC corrosion mechanism, evaluation and mitigation; Static and dynamic DC stray current corrosion evaluation and protection; AC and DC numerical simulation for complex situations; Corrosion risk intelligent monitoring and control technologies.
