Personal profile:

Luo Ji, born in 1978, doctor of engineering, associate researcher, master supervisor. From 2001 to 2006, he obtained master's degree and doctor's degree from School of materials science and engineering, University of science and technology Beijing. He engaged in the research and teaching in University of science and technology Beijing since 2007.

Research direction:

1. Powder preparation technologies
2. Powder metallurgy materials
3. Dispersion strengthened materials
4. Cemented carbides
5. Super hard materials and wear-resistant coating

Scientific research achievement :

As the project leader, he undertaken scientific research projects including one National 863 Project, one Science and Technology Support Plan Project, and two Military Supporting Projects. Over 20 papers have been published in the international and domestic academic magazines and conferences. 33 patents have been applied and 24 ones have been authorized. Major honors include second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Education in 2007, and first prize of Heibei Metallurgical Science and Technology in 2011.
