Jin Gao, born in 1963, associate professor (research fellow), master supervisor in USTB.
She is the director of the Data Sharing Department of the National Material Environmental Corrosion Field Scientific Observation and Research Platform, and the vice chairman of the Non-metallic Materials Committee of the China Society of Corrosion and Protection. She has been engaged in teaching and research work of material corrosion protection and polymer materials for a long time, and has guided more than 50 graduate students and assisted in guiding 6 PhD students. She has did long-term research in the field of environmental protection and research and development of anti-corrosion coatings and functional polymers. She was the project leader or technical leader of a number of projects from Ministry of Science and Technology (6 projects), National Natural Science Foundation of China (8 projects), Beijing Natural Science Foundation (2 projects) and so on, and more than 50 cooperation projects with factories and mines, to solve the practical problems of many anti-corrosion protection, and develop more than 30 anti-corrosion technologies. She has obtained 16 national patents, edited or participated in more than 10 monographs and textbooks, and published more than 100 SCI/EI papers. She won 9 first or second prizes for provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievements.
