Prof. Ping Li was born in Chongqing, China, in 1972. She received her B.Eng. (1995) and M.Eng. (1998) in materials science and engineering from Sichuan University and received her Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Central Iron & Steel Research Institute in 2002. She was a post-doctoral member of Research Staff in school of materials science and engineering at University of Science and Technology Beijing from 2002-2004. From 2012-2013, she was a Visiting Scientist joined The University of Utah in USA. She is currently a Full Professor and Supervisor of Ph.D. Candidates in Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology at University of Science and Technology Beijing. She has published more than 100 journal papers in peer-reviewed good journals, such as Energy & Environmental Science, ACS Nano, Energy Storage Materials, Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Journal of Power Sources and so on. She has also authorized more than 15 China domestic patents.
